Lacrosse used to be a sport that only amateurs get to play at college or high school level. Participants can be of both genders, male and female. Even if the sport is considered the contact type, players may still commit some personal and technical fouls should they exhibit unusual roughness. Fouls may also be called for stick checking.

There are a lot of training camps organized for those who are into the sport. The challenge is actually not on finding one, but rather, on finding camps that are able to give out good and valuable training.
